In a parallel world, I would already be in Prague getting ready to participate as a judge in the 197 Unicorn Battle. I’d meet a lot of cool, interesting people, listen to the pitches of innovators and entrepreneurs, and vote for the best one.

But this isn’t a parallel world and I’m staying safe at home.

But guess what? I’m still meeting a lot of cool, interesting people. I’m still going to listen to pitches, and I’m still voting for the best since the Unicorn Battle will still take place… online! We’re all staying safely at home but we’ll all be participating.

The organizers of the Unicorn Battle in Prague stepped-up their game and organized an online event to be held this Friday, March 27th at 15:00 CET.

This is great news because I was already looking forward to participating in it, and I was already a bit bummed that I wouldn’t be able to go.

It was sad because Unicorn Battles are great events! They have been organized by Startup.Network for a long time now, and it’s a great place for startups to find investors for their ideas.

You might already know the format, startups pitch their ideas in three minutes, and they answer questions for three minutes more. The winner is selected by the judges and they participate at the Unicorn CUP - Silicon Valley Finals on May 19th of this year (we’ll see if it also takes place online!).

It’s a BIG boost for any startup!

But this is not only interesting for the judges or startups, you can also join us as a guest. This is a great opportunity to see how these events work (and you don’t even have to travel to Prague!). You’ll get an idea about how to find the right investors, how to pitch, and how to start a startup.

Maybe you already have an idea or maybe you just want to see how it works so you can apply next time. You’ll get an idea about how to invest in startups, how to find the right investors, and how to start a startup. It’s a great experience!
